This free taster gives you a first look at natural beekeeping with the Warré hive, the way we keep bees at Boglands in Co. Offaly.
Our bees are kept treatment-free, with no queen excluders, and they are left undisturbed as much as possible. We don’t take honey at all: the bees keep everything they make.
There are four short lessons and a 10-question quiz. It takes about 30–40 minutes. No experience is needed.
The course draws on our free online book Bee Natural – Beekeeping with the Warré Hive at bees.boglands.ie.
Hands-on next step: come and see Warré hives at Boglands on one of our workshops. See dates and packages at bog.ie/book.
